Nichlas finished his training as a florist in 1993, and then started to work freelance, teaching floristry until 1994. Nichlas opened his first shop in Odense, Fyne in Denmark at the age of 20. Three years later in 1997, he opened his second shop in Aarhus, Jutland.
In 1998, Nichlas sold his shops and moved to the Danish Capital city of Copenhagen where he managed the highly respected florists, Axelborg Flowers.
In 2000, Nichlas was hired by Erik Buch; one of Denmark's leading flower artists and supplier to the Danish Royal Family. During this time, Nichlas prepared floral arrangements supplied to many high profile people and occasions including the Danish Crown Prince Frederick’s Marriage to Mary Donaldson in 2004.
Today, Nichlas has moved to the United Kingdoms Capital city, London where he is now running his business again; Floral Symphonies by Nichlas Vilsmark.
Our studio is located in Ladbroke Grove, near to the world famous Portobello Road Market. Our location in the heart of North Kensington is close to Notting Hill Gate and the eclectic Clarendon Cross. North Kensington can be best described as a fusion of cultures and is undoubtedly one of the most dynamic and creative parts of London.
